Heavy-Duty Mixed Flow Inline Fan Powered by Dwell 40,000-Hour Ball Bearings
Standard wall exhaust fans often struggle against duct friction and radiate motor hum directly into your living space. The Dwell MIX PRO moves high-velocity ventilation inside your ceiling void, delivering the static pressure needed to push moisture, heat, and stale air across duct runs up to 30 feet. Built with industrial-grade double ball bearings and tough ABS engineering polymer, it provides dependable, economical, and whisper-quiet extraction for budget residential projects and high-demand commercial spaces alike.
Dwell Double Ball-Bearing Motor
Industrial reliability without the premium price. Precision dual ball bearings rated for 40,000 hours of continuous non-stop operation, with built-in thermal overheating protection and auto-restart.
Mixed-Flow High-Pressure Impeller
Moves air where standard axial fans choke. Combines axial airflow volume with centrifugal driving pressure, generating up to 630 Pa to push humid air through ducts up to 30 feet away.
Noise-Displaced Ceiling Mount
Takes the sound source out of your living space. Installed above false ceilings or inside service shafts, isolating mechanical vibration and turbulence away from rooms (from 34 dB(A) at 3 m).
60-Second Slide-Out Servicing
Zero duct dismantling for maintenance. The central motor and impeller cartridge unclips from the mounted casing via two quick-release latches. Inspect or wipe down in seconds without touching duct joints.
Dependable, high-suction ventilation engineered for long duct routes.
In modern Indian apartments and commercial buildings, exhaust ducts must frequently travel across deep false ceilings, navigate structural beams, and exhaust into exterior shafts 10 to 30 feet away. Conventional window or wall-mounted fans simply cannot build the pressure needed to overcome this duct resistance, resulting in stagnant bathroom humidity, mold formation, and lingering odors.
The Dwell MIX PRO is purpose-built to solve this challenge economically. Its streamlined ABS polymer casing accelerates airflow through precision flow channels, keeping static pressure high and energy consumption low. Whether you are outfitting a 3BHK builder floor, a commercial office washroom, or a busy restaurant pantry, MIX PRO delivers commercial-grade ventilation that stays quiet, efficient, and trouble-free year after year.
- Dwell industrial double ball-bearing motor rated for 40,000 continuous hours
- Up to 30 ft duct run capability through multiple 90° bends and risers

Where Dwell MIX PRO Works Hardest
From single-toilet residential renovations to multi-cabin commercial ducting, the Dwell MIX PRO provides flexible, high-pressure extraction tailored to Indian architectural layouts.
Residential Bathrooms & Powder Rooms
Fresh, dry air with zero wall clutter. Replaces noisy wall exhaust fans with a discreet ceiling grille, pulling steam and humidity through ceiling ductwork directly to the building shaft.
Commercial Washrooms, Clinics & Offices
Continuous odor and moisture control for high-footfall facilities. Designed for corporate offices, healthcare clinics, and retail washrooms where ventilation runs 12 to 16 hours daily without motor burnout.
Kitchen Auxiliary & Utility Balconies
Clearing heat, steam, and damp laundry air. Perfect for supplementary kitchen ventilation, pantry alcoves, and enclosed utility balconies. Evacuates trapped humidity that standard hood chimneys cannot capture.
Multi-Point Shared Ducted Extraction
One powerful fan ventilating two adjacent spaces. Connect a single high-capacity MIX PRO (150 mm or 200 mm) to two compact bathrooms or a bathroom and powder room using a Y or T splitter, cutting equipment and wiring costs in half.
Gyms, Enclosed Studios & Commercial Pantries
Steady fresh-air turnover in enclosed commercial zones. Prevents air stagnation, stuffiness, and sweat odor in basement workout rooms, recording pods, treatment suites, and staff cafeterias.
Budget Housing & Builder Floor Projects
Value-engineered ventilation for residential developers. Provides the performance and aesthetics of ducted mechanical ventilation while remaining cost-effective and easy to install on tight schedules.
Aerodynamics of Mixed-Flow Ducted Ventilation
By combining axial air velocity with centrifugal compression, the Dwell MIX PRO delivers high airflow volume while maintaining the driving pressure required for ducted installations.
Sound Displacement at the Room Grille
Air enters through an architectural ceiling grille inside your room. Because the fan motor sits several feet back inside the duct run, you hear only a quiet rush of air—not the direct mechanical hum or vibration of a motor.
Mixed-Flow Aerodynamic Compression
Incoming air passes through 3D curved impeller blades housed in a tapered conical chamber. This accelerates the air stream and converts rotational energy into directional static pressure (up to 630 Pa).
Long-Run Duct Reach (Up to 30 Feet)
The compressed airflow maintains velocity through flexible or rigid ducting, navigating 90° bends, vertical risers, and exterior gravity louvers without choking or stalling.
60-Second Quick-Latch Maintenance
When inspection is needed, simply release the two clamp latches on the casing. The entire central motor and turbine assembly slides straight out, leaving the mounting bracket and ducting undisturbed.

Common Questions About Dwell MIX PRO
Clear, factual answers on sizing, acoustics, duct layout limits, and ceiling maintenance.
How do I select between MIX 100, MIX 150, and larger models?
For standard residential bathrooms (up to 40–60 sq ft) with duct runs up to 15 ft, the MIX 100 PRO (310 m³/h / 182.5 CFM) provides strong, effective extraction. For larger en-suite master baths, bathrooms with heavy steam/jacuzzi units, or dual-point branch ducting, choose the MIX 150 PRO (540 m³/h / 317.8 CFM). Models 200 through 315 are designed for commercial washrooms, open kitchens, and multi-cabin office ventilation.
Why is an inline exhaust fan much quieter than a traditional wall fan?
Traditional exhaust fans are installed directly in the wall or window, meaning the motor vibration and air shearing noise happen right inside the room. With the Dwell MIX PRO, the fan is mounted inside the ceiling void or duct line several feet away. The noise is absorbed within the ceiling plenum, leaving only a gentle airflow whisper at the room grille (operating from 34 dB(A) at 3 meters).
What is the maximum duct run the MIX PRO can support?
The Dwell MIX PRO is engineered to overcome resistance on duct runs up to 30 feet, including standard 90° elbows and exterior gravity louvers. For ultra-long vertical risers or duct runs exceeding 30 feet (up to 250 ft), we recommend Dwell’s high-pressure centrifugal inline series (DCIF / DCEF).
How do I clean or service the fan once my false ceiling is sealed?
Always provide a standard 300 × 300 mm inspection trap door in the gypsum false ceiling directly below the fan. The MIX PRO features a tool-free central body design: unclip the two external latches, and the central motor and impeller block lifts out easily for cleaning. You do not need to cut pipes or dismantle connected ductwork.
Can one MIX PRO fan ventilate two bathrooms at the same time?
Yes. By using a Y-piece or T-piece duct splitter, a single MIX 150 PRO (540 m³/h) or MIX 200 PRO (900 m³/h) can efficiently evacuate air from two adjacent bathrooms or a bathroom and powder room. Ensure balancing dampers or adjustable ceiling diffusers are installed to equalize airflow between both grilles.
How is the fan wired? Does it support an automatic delay timer?
The MIX PRO operates on a standard single-phase 220 V / 50 Hz power supply and connects directly to your normal bathroom light or exhaust switch. All models are also compatible with standard external run-on timers (adjustable from 2 to 30 minutes) to keep clearing moisture after you leave the room.
